FAQ’s

1. Who can use InnoCaption?

FEDERAL LAW PROHIBITS ANYONE BUT REGISTERED USERS WITH HEARING LOSS FROM USING INTERNET PROTOCOL (IP) CAPTIONED TELEPHONES WITH THE CAPTIONS TURNED ON. InnoCaption is a certified IP captioned telephone service provider. InnoCaption uses a live stenographer to generate captions. The stenographer generates captions of what the other party to the call says. These captions are then sent to your phone. There is a cost for each minute of captions generated, paid from a federally administered fund.

3. Why is there a number in a red circle on top of the InnoCaption Icon?

The number inside the red circle reflect how many voice messages your currently have on your InnoCaption voicemail.

4. How do I block an unwanted caller?

You can block unwanted calls by opening your InnoCaption App and accessing your Recent calls. To block a call, slide left on the number you wish to block. Tap More followed by Add to Block List. To unblock the number, tap Block List in your Setting menu, followed by Trash, and confirm by clicking Yes. 5. How do I connect to my InnoCaption voicemail?

In order to retrieve the voice message(s) on your InnoCaption Voicemail, simple hold down the # sign until you are connected to one of your Communication Assistants (CAs). You can also press the # sign and then press the Call button in order to be connected to one of our CAs.
