InnoCaption+ Manual for iPhone/ iPad

How to download InnoCaption+ App

1. Go to AppStore
2. Search InnoCaption+
3. Tap [GET]
4. Tap [INSTALL]
5. Open InnoCaption+ App
6. Enter your 10 digit cellphone number
7. Agree Legal Agreement
8. Accept all popup notices
9. Go to [Settings]. If there is no number under 'My InnoCaption Number', then, press the [Retry Activation]

Note: The location Service must be allowed for 911 emergency calls. Your location information will not be transmitted to us unless you place 911 emergency calls.

How to make Outgoing call

1. Open InnoCaption+ App
2. Enter 10 digit phone number, then press [Call] button. Or, you can call a number from Contacts list of in the phone by tapping [Contacts] from App
3. To end, tap [Disconnect] button

How to make International calls

1. Open InnoCaption+ App
2. Enter 011 + country code + tel number, then press [Call] button.
(e.g. 0114331556789)
3. To end, tap [Disconnect] button

How to receive Incoming calls

1. Slide right the [Accept] button
2. To end, tap [Disconnect] button

Note: For incoming call with captions, people should call your InnoCaption Number that can be found in setting of the App or in the welcome email.

How to receive Incoming calls at lock (dark) screen

1. Slide right Accept button
2. Click the round InnoCaption+ button
3. Enter Passcode (if any)
3. To end, tap [Disconnect] button

Note: For incoming call with captions, people should call your InnoCaption Number that can be found in setting of the App or in the welcome email.

How to receive All calls coming to your regular cellphone

You will need to set up Call Forwarding to your InnoCaption number in your cellphone.

 * Verizon/ Sprint and its affiliates
  1. Open the Phone App(native dialler)
  2. Enter *72
  3. Enter your InnoCaption number(e.g., 908-123-4567) following *72. (e.g., *72-908-123-4567)
  4. Tap the [Call] button and wait for confirmation. You should hear a confirmation tone or message.
  5. End your call. Back to top.

 * AT&T/ T-mobile and its affiliates
  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings > Phone > Call Forwarding
  2. Tab the white slider to turn it green
  3. Tab Forward to
  4. Enter your InnoCaption number to forwards calls
  5. Tap Call Forwarding

How to use Favorite contacts

1. Open the App
2. Tap [Favorites]
3. To add, tap +
4. To delete, tab EDIT
5. To change the list order, press = and drag down to move

How to use Speed dial

1. Open the App
2. Tap [Settings]
3. Tap [Speed Dial]
4. To add a new number, tap [+ Add New]
5. To delete a number, tap Edit

Note: To call by 'Speed Dial', press and hold a number (1, 2, 3...) in App keypad

How to retrieve Voicemail

1. When you have a voicemail, a number in red dot will appear with InnoCaption+ icon
2. Open InnoCaption+ App
3. i) Press # and [Call]. Or, ii) Long press #
4. Once connected, captions will display
"Welcome to Innocaption voicemail system. Listen to your voicemail, press 1. Record your personal greeting, press 2."
  => Press 1, then "You have xx new messages in your mail box. To listen to your message, press 1. To disconnect, press star(*) or hang up."
  => Press 1 to listen. After listening the first message, then "The end of message. To erase, press 7. To save, press 9."
  => Press 7, then "The message is deleted. Next message....."
  => Delete one by one

How to set up your Personal greeting

1. Open InnoCaption+ App
3. i) Press # and [Call]. Or, ii) Long press #
3. Once connected, captions will display
"Welcome to Innocaption voicemail system. Listen to your voicemail, press 1. Record your personal greeting, press 2."
  => Press 2, then "To record your personal greeting, press 1. To delete your personal greeting, press2. To go back, press 3."
  => Press 1, then "Please begin your recording after the beep. At the end, press the pound(#) sign. Now, begin recording. (Beep)"
  => After beep, record your own greeting (max 30 seconds long). At the end, press #
  => When press #, then "Are you satisfied, press 1. Erase and record again, press 2."
  => Press 1, then "Goodbye".

How to use Your Other Phone for voice (outgoing only)

1. To set alternative voice line (path), tap [Settings]
2. Tap Your Other Phone for Voice
3. To add from Contact list, tap [+ Add]. Or, to input directly, tap [Edit] button
4. To remove, tap [Trash] button
5. When calling out, the Confirm dialog will appear and tap [YES]
6. Select one of your other phones for voice line
  * The other phone should be near you for pick up
  * See Caption on your mobile phone while talking on your other phone
7. When the other phone is ringing, pick it up within 10 seconds.

How to select Caller ID

1. Open the App
2. Go [Settings]
3. Go My Caller ID
4. Select Caller ID option:
   - My InnoCaption number
   - My Cell Number
   - Blocked

Note: Temporary Caller ID block: Add *67 in front of 10 digit number.

How to turn Caption Auto Scroll On/Off

Auto scroll can be on/off by green arrow button() at the screen during caption calls.

How to turn Mic On/Off

Microphone can be on/off(mute) by mic button at the screen during caption calls.

How to turn Speaker phone On/Off

Speaker phone can be on/off by speaker button at the screen during caption calls.

How to change caption Font size

1. Open the App
2. Go [Settings]
3. Go Font Size
4. Input font size and click [Apply]

How to View Transcripts of a call log

1. Open the App
2. Go [Recents]
3. Tap Text icon

How to send Transcripts via email

1. Open the App
2. Tap [Recents]
3. Tap Text icon of a call to open the transcripts
4. Tap Upload(Share) icon at top of the screen
5. Tap [OK] button
  P.S. Email account has to be enabled in the phone

How to Delete call logs

1. Open the App
2. Go [Recents]
3. Tab Edit
4. Select call logs
5. Click Trash icon. Or, slide left a call log
6. Click Delete

How to Protect call logs (a call history and transcripts)

1. Open the App
2. Go [Recents]
3. Slide left a call log
4. Click More
5. Click Protect Call Log

How to Block unwanted numbers from call logs

1. Open the App
2. Go [Recents]
3. Slide left a call log
4. Click More
5. Click Add to Block List

How to remove Blocked numbers in Block list

1. Open the App
2. Go [Settings]
3. Tap Block List
4. Tap Trash button
